Sculptor John Richen discovered his love of art while studying architecture an Oregon State University. Since then, his bronze and stainless steel works have been exhibited in major shows throughout the country, as well as in Amsterdam and Montreal. His sculptures can be found in private and corporate collections from the East Coast to Switzerland and Saudi Arabia. "New Moon" |

Known for creating abstract peices that are at once strong and graceful, John goes to great lengths to achieve a high sheen that resembles the reflective characteristics of water. "I want each piece to stay alive in many different lights," he says, "so there is a changing mood and effect. Basically" he summarizes, "all my work represents that moment in time - that moment of change." "Seismic Spleandor" |
